MATA VAISHNO DEVI:-

Vaishno Devi is amongst the most revered hindu pilgrims sites in India. This beautiful temple lies ensconced among the picturesque hills in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in India. However many types of research conducted on the holy caves suggests that the temple is one of million years old. Hindus venerate Vaishno Devi, also commonly referred as Mata Rani and Vaishnavi, is the very manifestation of mother Goddess Shakti. In fact the word ‘maa’ or ‘maata’ refers to mother in India.

It is believed to be the second most visited religious shrine in India after the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. The temple premises are maintained by Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. There are three main caves located at Mata Vaishno Devi of which the main cave remains closed most of the year. The reason is it takes lot of time to pass through them and it is too long. At Ardhkuwari, a separate cave is situated to which an interesting legend is attached.

This separate cave is said to a place where Mata Vaishno Devi hid from Bhairo Nath for 9 months. It is said that, a goddess positioned herself in same way as an unborn child is placed in his/her mother’s womb. This cave is also called Garbhjun. When she saw Bhairav entering the cave she took the shape of fierce “Chandi” goddess and killed him by her sword. Vaishno Devi is considered the holiest of all places, which possesses the energy to keep mother Goddess safe. Many evidences were found such as Mata Satti falling at this place.

This is believed that any individual’s holy trip depends on the call from Deity. Until and unless ‘Mata’ wants you to come, you can’t plan your trip to Holy Abode
